OHM

Located on 30th Street and 11th Avenue, Ohm was the first residential project along the northern spur of the Highline.

Architect Stephen B. Jacobs and interior designer Andi Pepper, the design team that collaborated on such successful upscale Manhattan projects as 325 5th Avenue and the Gansevoort Park Hotel, created a design that combines efficient residential layouts with exceptional amenity spaces. The residential and common area finishes, worthy of the trendiest of New York luxury hotels, were designed to target New York City’s young, sophisticated renters.

Distinct common areas feature a 5,000 sf performance venue in the lobby where monthly concerts are produced for residents by Knitting Factory Entertainment, 20,000 sf of amenities including a residents lounge with a multimedia center, fireplace, and billiards, a 4,100 sq. ft. garden terrace, a video game arcade, a 2,100 sf fitness center overlooking the Highline and a landscaped sky deck with green features and unobstructed city views in all directions.

Ohm also extends its lifestyle amenities through partnerships with neighboring organizations including the Highline, whose northernmost entrance is adjacent to Ohm, and Chelsea Piers, who offers special promotions for residents. Ohm offers residents monthly movie screenings in the lobby through its concierge service and provides free shuttle service to Penn Station.

Since its successfully lease up, and with a 24-hour gourmet-café, and 181-space parking garage, a new residential neighborhood has been born.
